Jane Morgan (Lori Loughlin) is a mother of two and pregnant with a third child. During labor, she is sedated by nurse Rita Donahue (Kate Jackson). When Jane wakes up, she is told her baby was stillborn. But Rita has actually kidnapped Jane's healthy baby and switched the records. As Jane searches for the truth, her friends think she is struggling with drugs. Meanwhile, Rita kills another woman to steal her baby. Detective Knoll suspects Rita and, in the end, finds Jane’s daughter, reuniting them and bringing closure to their story.
